Hurricane s tlamou byl předělaný na dvoumístného a sloužil jako taxík na Sardinii. Popis k fotografii: BP654 unit hack of a USAAF unit in Italy, converted to a 2 seater [just visible], from the 350th FG, 12th AF, with a shark mouth, and in US colours, note the serial is applied in the US style and position on fin. Elmas airfield in Sardinia. Abandoned over the sea south of Bardia after engine failure 6th Aug 1943.

Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb BP654, delivery date from Hawkers between March - Nov 1942, after having served with RAF Sqns. 'Acquired' in Sardinia by the 350th FG, 12th AF, became a unit hack of the unit in Italy, converted to a 2 seater, and painted with a sharks mouth and eyes, in US colours [Olive drab/Sky Blue], the serial was applied in the US style and position on fin.
Abandoned over the sea south of Bardia after engine failure 6th Aug 1943. No MACR or accident record, probably as it had been 'Acquired' and was not on their official books.
