MiG-21 1/72 in 24 hours (St.Petersburg, RUS)

Last weekend (October 23-24), our team held a competition for building of MiG-21 model on a scale of 1/72 from Eduard, within 24 hours (we worked for 2 days for 12 hours with a break for sleep).
This competition is analogous to the famous "Iron Bunny", only one participant builds a model. The participant chose the choice of the execution variant, coloring and additional sets himself.
The competition was attended by 12 people from different cities of Russia, including 4 juniors under 18 years old. After finishing the work, experienced judges evaluated the results on a special scale, and the winner was identified.
We have already held a contest on a different topic 6 times. Our modelers are very good at this venture, and despite the difficult conditions and environment, we carried out this action again.
I would like to say a big thank you to the Eduard company for the wonderful sets, from which everyone can make an excellent copy of the aircraft. I would also like to thank personally Mr. Sulc and Mr. Zdiarsky for their assistance, and Mr. Bobek for drawing for our competition.
We will definitely do it again.
