Would You make the Merlin fron the Box ? Or do You have one other Merlin (CMK or Aires ?) ...

I've chosen Aires Packard-Merlin. Only engine. The mount, oil tank and some details are to be scratchbuilt or reworked items from the kit.

The new compete aires Spitifre engine set is unfortunatelly very expensive...

well, you see them curved, not straight in line etc etc Tomas, don't you?
I must say, YES - they're ugly, curved, wrong...because the're just a ... temporary rivets?
You see them only because some paint was removed and it rests in those semi-rivets.
In the end, I'll try to make a bent, warped surface of a real aircraft. I'll try... and those rivets will change their appaerance, I hope
