I like it :) if is scale 1/72 or 1/76 it´s great and detailing is
but I have one observation and one question...
that cigaret is realy too big :-k
and what´s that green stuff on the blanket? It´s some kind of mildew?

Hello, I think it is nice, but isen't it better to make it from an ordinary plastic kit? Or that resin is not so expensive? And I think cec is right, these green leaves on the blanket looks quite odd. You did good job, but there are more attractive things to make from resin e.g. parts of fallen airplanes. You know, if i want to make abandoned car, I buy plastic kit with better details (and I use all parts of this kit), but if I want to make for example vignette where are soldiers going round plane wreckage, I don't buy expensive plastic kit of plane because of several needed parts... :) (maybe a tip for a future?)

First, thank you for all your questions, that's what I'm looking for when I share my work online.

The reason behind why I did it this way is simple:

1) This Airfix Kubel was lost in my spares box. I built it years ago but didn't like the end result. This was a way to re-use it and try to make something different out of it.

2) I made resin copies to try to sell a few also. I really like small dioramas, so I created a figure and made a small set, hoping that someone else will enjoy building it as well. I think it will look cool with an Italeri BMW R75 or some foot soldier passing by...

Your idea about damaged plane parts is very good. However, since even 1/72 planes are a bit big, I would have to spend a lot of silicone rubber, resin and my own time (which is not much), to create something like that. It's a good idea, I'll see what I can do..

these green leaves on the blanket looks quite odd.

Actually, I like how my friend painted them, it makes sense to me. I'll try something different when I paint my own set.

Thank you for your interest! I've already sold all copies but I'll make some more and will put them for sale on my blog as soon as I can.

Ok, I understand you now. :) As a good subject would be also several of tired soldiers, that are going to see, if the car can be going...
About that leaves - you usually don't see green leaves fallen from a tree. That is why it is in my opinion strange and why I think they should be painted by different color than green. But I don't say it is absolutely wrong.

I wish you good luck with current and new projects :)

Good point. However, what I had in mind when I was building the master was something like this:

This is probably what I'll attempt to replicate when I build/paint my version of the base. My friend did not do it because he didn't have much time, we were in the middle of a Group-Build in our Forum. I will also try to paint the cover in camouflage but I'll have to read more about it, I don't know how can I do it...

Well, this can be problem :-k Cnavases used by german soldiers were smaller than blanket on the car. They usually used camouflage nets for covering big objects. Hovewer there can be things I don't know. Let me know if you find something. :)
