Čtu knihu Spitfire Pilot's Stories (Alfred Price) a zaujala mne výpověď jistého Freda Hunta o zbarvení prvních průzkumných Spitů z r. 1939 (viz různé diskuze o tom pravém správném odstínu narůžovělé barvy). Přidávám citát - může se někomu hodit až bude průzkumáka stavět.
It (Spitfire) was painted overall with a delicate shade of pale bluish green which, under certain light conditions, appeared to have pinkish tinge. On the ground this made the aircraft conspicuous, but once it was airborne the Spitfire merged well into the sky background.
