Chcel by som vedieť, ktoré verzie tohto lietadla lietali so žltými krídlami.

"yellow wings" byly i dvojky. Zkuste In action, tam to bude vysvětlené.

Dive brake perforations are molded solid, can be drilled out by modeler, there are aftermarket sets with detailed dive brakes for the kits that do not come with them. 09119 SBD-3 is basic kit, has later twin .30 cal MGs. Similar 09169 and 09430 also include etched detailed dive brakes. 09625 is based on these and includes resin earlier SBD-1 carburetor intake, modeler must remove the later one from the cowl. 09120 has H-S prop, does SBD-4 only. 09179 is noteworthy, includes same parts as SBD-3 except has the larger pneumatic tail wheel for land based use (but no carrier tail wheel), the only source of this tail wheel in 1/48, used on many later Marine SBDs based on Pacific islands. However, the A-24A was based on the SBD-4 which had H-S prop, so either the kit is wrong or props were changed on some A-24As, my references are no help on this one…does anyone have any additional data?
