LEGENDS OF AVIATION 7
Pfalz – Fighter Aircraft from Rheinland the Wine Country
Tomasz J. Kowalski

Fighters made in a Bavarian GmbH Flugzeugwerke factory were the third most common type of fighter aircraft used by the Imperial Army Air Service (Luftstreitkräfte). Although having elegant lines, they turned out to be inferior not only to Albatros D.V and D.Va or Fokker D.VII but also to most allied fighters sent into action in 1917. They were just a workhorse of the Luftstreitkräfte fulfilling the permanent shortage of combat-ready fighters. They were definitely a deadly weapon in the hands of experienced German and Bavarian Jastas pilots.
Size: 205 x 275 mm, 72 pages including 73 photos, 11 pages of archive drawings and 4-view colour profiles of 5 aircraft painted by Ronny Bar.

SUPER DRAWINGS IN 3D 20
The Type II U-Boat
Waldemar Góralski

The Type II U-boat - The latest book in Super Drawings in 3D series presents a brief description of the German Type II coastal submarines along with their general characteristics. Since "an image can speak a thousand words", the text is accompanied by 160 renderings which show the external appearance of all four sub-types including detalis such as various conning towers and armament variants as well as other fittings. Blueprints of the four sub-types in 1:144 scale (general views and isometric view) are included on a separate sheet. This publication is an invaluable help to any modeller interested in building a replica of any of the Type II submarines.

Hello caughtinthemiddle, your new U-Boat type II book looks really great, I ordered it already. They will be also soon a U-Boat type IX (A, B, C, C/40) book? I miss it on the market. The only thing that came out, is the old german monograph Vom Original zum Modell, but it contains no 3D views, good drawings, etc.

Hello Peeppu,
Thank you for kind words and ordering the book.
I think that you may expect a title on the type you've asked in the considerable future.
Cheers,
Maciej
